New Razer Gaming Headphones Revealed Along With A Blue Screen

There is a lot of ground to cover here and so, we will get straight to the point. In addition to the Android handheld gaming console, the Panerai x Razer luxe timepiece, and Lamborghini gaming chair, Razer has revealed a bunch of headphones and interestingly a streaming accessory that we did not see it coming: a blue screen.

The headphones announced include the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro, the Razer Kaira X, the Razer Kaira Pro HyperSpeed, and Razer Hammerhead HyperSpeed.

Skip ahead for a quick rundown of each individual product.

Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro

Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro

The Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro is a Razer Chroma RGB wired headset, featuring interchangeable kitty, bear, and bunny ears – all of which are included in the package. Using the many colors offered by Razer Chroma RGB and countless lighting effects, the ears have the ability to react, in real-time, to stream events, such as emotes, alerts, and more.

The headphones further feature a detachable Razer HyperClear cardioid microphone for crystal clear voice capture, while Razer TriForce Titanium 50 mm drivers offer 7.1 digital surround sound for high-fidelity audio. Rounding up the feature list are hybrid fabric and leatherette cushioning that promise all-day comfort wear and noise isolation.

The Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro will be available for preorder in Q4 2022, with a starting price of US$199.99.

The Razer Blue Screen is exactly what it says it is. Crafted with premium fibers, the Razer Blue Screen lets streamers create their own worlds and display them as seamless and immersive backgrounds on a wrinkle-free backdrop. The screen is height-adjustable 94” that is designed with quick deployment in mind. It can, of course, be collapsed for space-saving storage. The Razer Blue Screen is available now for US$149.99.

Razer Kaira PlayStation Licensed Series

The new Razer Kaira has been expanded to include headsets for PlayStation 5 console. There’s the new Razer Kaira X PlayStation Licensed (US$59.99), a wired headset (not to be confused with the other model introduced last year) and then there is the new Razer Kaira HyperSpeed PlayStation Licensed (US$129.99), and Razer Kaira Pro HyperSpeed PlayStation Licensed (US$199.99), which are wireless multi-platform gaming headsets.

Featuring Razer HyperSpeed technology, the latter two connect over an ultra-fast 2.4 GHz wireless connection for seamless, low latency audio suitable for competitive gaming across multiple platforms. In addition, they tout a long 30 hours of battery life, with the Pro model further boasting Razer HyperSense that enables gamers to feel what they hear.

Whichever Kaira you choose, you’d be getting Razer TriForce Titanium 50 mm drivers with titanium-coated diaphragms and a detachable external Razer HyperClear Supercardiod ENC microphone.

Razer Hammerhead HyperSpeed TWS Earbuds

The Razer Hammerhead HyperSpeed TWS Earbuds are wireless multi-platform gaming-grade earbuds designed with on-the-go gamers in mind, and featuring active noise cancelation (ANC) technology.

“Featuring dual environmental noise canceling (ENC) microphones for vocal clarity while communicating in-game or on calls, the Razer Hammerhead HyperSpeed is powered by Razer Chroma RGB, and boasts 30 hours of battery life with the included charging case for all-day use. With 2.4GHz gaming grade wireless (with the included Type C dongle) or Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, gamers will be able to eliminate distractions to play anywhere and carry everywhere from console to mobile. The included Type C HyperSpeed dongle allows gamers to lower audio latency, giving these earbuds gaming-grade performance.”

The Razer Hammerhead HyperSpeed is available in PlayStation Licensed and as Xbox Licensed versions. Both models will be available in November 2022, priced at US$149.99 a pop.
