French road bike maker Lapierre’s first collaborative bicycle with French racing and sports car maker Société des Automobiles Alpine SAS aka Alpine is the AIRCODE DRS Lapierre x Alpine.
If you are at the Paris Motor Show between 17-23 October, you will be able to see it in the flesh at the Alpine stand.
The AIRCODE DRS Lapierre x Alpine Road Bike [FR] is a carbon road bike that, according to the French bike maker, is designed for high speed that defies aerodynamic laws.
The AIRCODE DRS Lapierre x Alpine Road Bike gets an exclusive finish with details borrowed from the new Alpine A110 R, including the beautiful Matte Racing Blue paint job on the frame and Deep Black for the emblems.
The bicycle, being from Lapierre, is just as exquisite as the A110 R is. It is crafted from three types of unidirectional carbon fiber and equipped with the best components in the market.
Like the A110 R, it is lightweight too – thanks to the full carbon fiber components, which include carbon fiber ply in the fork, downtube, and seat tube.
The Lapierre x Alpine AIRCODE DRS Alpine is limited to just 110 numbered examples worldwide, each going for a cool €9,000, which works out to be around 8,867 American dollars based on the current going rate.
The bike is expected to be available starting on October 24 at select Lapierre shops, with delivery scheduled for early 2023.
Lapierre is taking pre-orders for the limited-edition road bike online which requires a 2,000 euro deposit.
