Fans of Transformers who cannot get enough of oversized Transformers toys and have too much shelf space to spare will want to check out the Transformers Generations Legacy Series Titan Cybertron Universe Metroplex. Part of the new Transformers Generations Legacy lineup, this Gigantion Autobot is pulled straight out of the Unicron Trilogy, Transformers: Cybertron (2005) cartoon series.
Like in the series, this toy is HUGE. Though at 22 inches (56 cm) tall, it is still far from being the biggest Transformers toy. That accolade remains for the HasLab Unicron, which is 27 inches (69 cm) tall, to keep. TBH, I am not sure why Hasbro decided to do a Cybertron Metroplex. I get it. It already has two G1 Metroplexes but I have doubt if Cybertron Metroplex is actually a fan favorite which is what the Generations Legacy line is about.
Anywho, if you are a fan then I guess you are in luck but be ready to part with US$200 of your hard-earned money because that is how much the Transformers Generations Legacy Series Titan Cyberton Universe Metroplex costs.
The toy transforms from a robot to a Gitantion bucket-wheel excavator in 52 steps and comes with a 2-part “Sparkdrinker” ax which can be split into two, into a buzzsaw and a claw, for his work mode. In the work mode, you can choose to flip down the welding mask because, you know, the ‘bot gotta work/weld. The ax also forms his shovel for his excavator mode. Sadly, though, his trusty Mini-Con partner Drill Bit isn’t part of the package.
Recommended for ages 15 and up. The Transformers Generations Legacy Series Titan Cyberton Universe Metroplex is set to ship on November 01, 2022. You can secure a copy or two from Hasbropulse.com and other online toy retailers for about US$199.99.
