Good news, collectors of LEGO Star Wars helmet building sets. OK. Maybe not so good news if you aren’t much of a fan of the Clone Wars but if you are, then you will be elated that Captain Rex and Clone Commander Cody have gotten the LEGO Star Wars Helmet treatment.
The LEGO Star Wars Captain Rex Helmet (75349) and LEGO Star Wars Clone Commander Cody Helmet (75350) are revealed ahead of their debut at the upcoming Nuremberg Toy Fair (February 01-05).
If you are a purist who doesn’t care much for the Clone Wars, there is the LEGO Star Wars Princess Leia (Boushh) Helmet (75351). The LEGO Star Wars Princess Leia (Boushh) Helmet (75351) recreates the bounty hunter helmet worn by Leia Organa to impersonate Boushh to enter Jabba the Hutt’s palace in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi (1983).
Like previous LEGO buildable helmets, it comes with a buildable stand with a nameplate. The set arrived in time to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1983 Star Wars movie. The set has 670 pieces and measures over 6.5 in. (17 cm) high, 4.5 in. (11 cm) wide, and 5.5 in. (14 cm) deep when completed.
Meanwhile, the LEGO Star Wars Captain Rex Helmet (75349) is an 854-piece set that measures over 8 in. (21 cm) high, 5 in. (12 cm) wide, and 5 in. (13 cm) deep when completed and the LEGO Star Wars Clone Commander Cody Helmet (75350) has 766 pieces and measures over 8 in. (21 cm) high, 5 in. (12 cm) wide and 5.5 in. (14 cm) deep when completed. As before, both sets include a brick-built stand with a nameplate.
All three sets are available for pre-order today for US$69.99 each, with shipping from March 01, 2023.
