Since the introduction of the maiden product from the collaboration between IKEA and Sonos in 2019, the SYMFONISK lamp speaker has been updated and now, the SYMFONISK is now joined by a new version of SYMFONISK, a floor lamp. I know right. Finally, you can have the lamp and listen to music pumped out by quality speakers without taking up scarce tabletop/console top space.
While clearly different, the new IKEA SYMFONISK Floor Lamp Speaker continues the design language of the tabletop version. In fact, it looks like the tabletop version with legs and a base. The new SYMFONISK is rocking a shade in bamboo and can be personalized through different SYMFONISK speaker lamp shades available separately.
It can be paired with other products from the SYMFONISK range or other Sonos products. This means the lamp could act as a rear speaker to create a home theater setup for room-filling sound with light. This also means you can get the full immersion with two of the IKEA Sonos SYMFONISK Floor Lamp Speakers.
Like all SYMFONISK, new the SYMFONISK is part of the Sonos system which makes connecting to music and audio content easy. Similarly, it is enabled by DIRIGERA, the IKEA hub for smart products, allowing it to be added to the IKEA Home smart app and be steered together with other smart devices to create scenes.
The new IKEA SYMFONISK Floor Lamp Speaker is available now for US$289.99.
