Give your PC gaming experience a boost in the audio department with the new Razer Leviathan V2 X Gaming Soundbar with the goodness of Leviathan without breaking the bank.
A stripped-down version of the follow-up Leviathan soundbar in a very long time and more importantly, significantly more affordable, the new Razer Leviathan V2 X Gaming Soundbar sells for US$99.99 as opposed to the Leviathan V2 asking price of US$249.99.
But sacrifices do have to be made to make it more wallet-friendly to more people. These include omitting a standalone subwoofer and THX Spatial Audio. But perhaps for folks who are not quite into THX and/or do not have space for a sub, these may not be considered sacrifices.
And while RGB lighting effects are not missing, it has 4 fewer lighting zones – 14 instead of 18 on the V2. The lighting is, of course, customizable as it is expected to be.
Under the hood, the 15.7-inch (400 mm) long soundbar packs two full-range drivers and two passive radiators to deliver a volume output of 90 dB at a meter (3.3 feet) away.
A USB-C port lets you power the soundbar with your computer, monitor, or power brick.
Last but not least, it has Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity that promised seamless PC and mobile connection, providing low-latency wireless connection which you can switch seamlessly between your PC and mobile device that’s paired via the Razer Audio App.
If anyone’s interested, the Razer Leviathan V2 X Gaming Soundbar is available for preorder now for the aforementioned US$99.99 sticker, with delivery slated to start on September 28, 2022.
