Remember Killerbody? The RC car body maker that has branched out to build wearable Iron Man suits and wearable character helmets/Bluetooth speakers? Well, these guys have more of the latter.
The latest to join the wearable helmet/Bluetooth speakers product line is the Iron Man Mk 5 Helmet and Captain America’s helmet. Both the Iron Man Mk 5 Helmet and the Captain American Helmet are officially licensed and developed in collaboration with China tech company MIGU.
Like the Transformers Bumblebee Wearable Helmet/Bluetooth Speakers, the BT speaker is not in the helmet; it is in the included display stand. That said, both helmets do come with their own display stands. The stands as a clear post to prop up the helmet, making it appears to be floating which is pretty neat.
In the case of the Killerbody 1:1 Collectible Iron Man Mk 5 Wearable Helmet with Bluetooth Speaker Stand, it has a stand that resembles the chest of the suit with a superbright, light-up arc reactor.
The helmet itself has a light-up feature in the eyes and on the ears with the latter having changeable colors. Much like the unofficially licensed copy we saw a while back, this officially licensed Iron Man Mk 5 helmet has motorized opening and closing via voice or the supplied remote.
Meanwhile, the Killerbody 1:1 Collectible Captain America Wearable Helmet with Bluetooth Speaker Stand [CH] shares a similar concept, i.e. a six-sided sloping stand, but with a texture that is a nod to Cap’s suit and a stand with a transparent post for holding up the helmet and at the base, a star with a light-up outline.
The Killerbody 1:1 Collectible Iron Man Mk 5 Wearable Helmet with Bluetooth Speaker Stand is available to order now for a cool US$449. It is not clear when the Killerbody 1:1 Collectible Captain America Wearable Helmet with Bluetooth Speaker Stand will be available though. We do know that it will sell for 1,480 yuan (about US$220) in China when it becomes available.
