Leica is never associated with 360 imaging and action cameras but that changes recently, well kind of, with the Insta360 ONE RS 1-inch 360 Edition co-engineered with Leica.
Armed with dual 1-inch sensors, the new Insta360 ONE RS 1-inch 360 Edition promised to deliver unparalleled 6K imaging, in 360, even in low-light conditions.
In addition to 6K 360 video, it also supports 21 MP stills as well as AI-powered PureShot HDR.
Other highlights include an invisible selfie stick “for impossible third-person views”, FlowState Stabilization, 360 Horizon Lock, IPX3 rated construction, and like the original ONE RS, it has interchangeable lenses. Yup. A 360 camera with interchangeable lenses. Like, you can’t get any cooler than this, can you?
Also, this being a 360 imaging device, it does not have the traditional GoPro style form; instead, it is of a candy bar form factor.
But such awesomeness does not come cheap. The Insta360 ONE RS 1-inch 360 Edition co-engineered with Leica costs a cool US$799.99.
