I don’t own an Apple Watch. However, my experience with Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 tells me that if you want it to remain in near pristine condition, it has to have a case.
Unlike phone cases, though, I thought the Catalyst Total Protection Case for Apple Watch Series 7 (45 mm) actually made Apple Watch looks better. OK. I might be biased here because I have a thing for rugged-looking timepieces.
The Catalyst Total Protection Case for Apple Watch Series 7 is completely waterproof to 330 feet (100 meters) – that’s 2x more waterproof protection than when it is naked, and it’s made of tough, washable polycarbonate that is rugged, shock-resistant, scratch-proof, and of course, washable.
The case, if so desired, can be easily disinfected using EPA-approved disinfectants.
As you probably have already noted, the case offers 360 protection for your precious smartwatch while allowing normal functions of the touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, optical heart sensor, speaker, and microphone.
The rotating digital crown and side button, while fully protected, are still accessible. The watch case is built with adventure in mind, exceeding military standards (MIL-STD-810G) for shocks and drops up to 6.6 feet (2 meters).
The Catalyst Total Protection Case for Apple Watch Series 7 (45 mm) is available in Stealth Black and it can be pre-order now for US$74.99. While it has just one color option, the case can be customized with Catalyst’s line of colorful Sport Bands.
In related news, Catalyst has also announced the Total Protection Case AirPods (3rd Generation), which shares the same beautiful, rugged design as the Total Protection Case AirPods Pro. It is available to order for US$49.99.
The press release said it is available in stealth black but the website listed a new Army Green color.
