Everything the world has, China has alternatives. Having said that, we are quite surprised that China does have an answer to interchangeable lens cameras. I know right. Given how the country is pretty strong in imaging, this is really a surprise.
Not that huge brands like Lenovo and TCL did not give it a go; they did but none of them make it to the world stage. That may change soon with DJI. Back in 2019, the leader in imaging drones filed a patent with the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) for a digital camera that looks suspiciously like the Hasselblad X1D II.
It may very be (a rebranded X1D II). I am pretty sure DJI did not acquire a majority stake in Hasselblad just to put its imaging technology in a drone, which DJI did btw. The news of the patent surfaced in 2019. Fast forward to today, the rumor of a DJI medium format camera gets reignited, sparked by supposedly leaked images of the said camera.
The images were shared by Photorumors. We have no idea how legit they are but from the looks of it, the images are of the actual product (dummy or not, it is not clear, though), not renders.
We will not be sharing the images, though, for legal reasons. If you are curious, you may head over to Photorumors.com to have a look.
