For the longest time Big Bertha has been synonymous with Callaway Golf drivers and some said, fairway woods while Apex has been the name associated with pro-grade irons. But now, there is a new name for all those and it is called Rogue. I believe this is the first time that Callaway Golf has everything covered under a line.
Billed as the most stable drivers ever, the Callaway Golf Rogue Drivers feature an all-new Tungsten Speed Cartridge that places specific weight (up to 26g) low and deep in the head for increased speed, stability, and high MOI (moment of inertia).
Like the Epic series and the B2I, it also features Jailbreak technology. However, in the case of the Rogue drivers, the construction, shaping, and positioning of the Jailbreak Speed Frame promotes even more speed and stability.
Finally, it has an A.I. face that lowered the spin and increased the forgiveness.
Altogether, there are four models in the Callaway Golf Rogue Driver Family.
And then there are the Callaway Golf Rogue Fairway Woods, the fastest fairway woods from the brand and capable of up to 10 yards longer with its new Batwing Technology.
Like in the drivers, the Jailbreak system provides speed and stability. Meanwhile, the batwings offer stiffness while affording the face to flex for high ball speeds.
In addition to the Tungsten Speed Cartridge and A.I. face found on the drivers, these fairway woods further benefits from the High Strength Face Cup for speed and spin consistency.
All told, there are three models of Callaway Golf Rogue Fairway Wood to choose from.
Completing the Rogue family are the Callaway Golf Rogue Irons and the Callaway Golf Rogue Hybrids. The latter is presented as Rogue ST models that also boasts the all-new Jailbreak System, along with a high-strength 455 Face Cup, an all-new A.I. Face Optimization, and a Tungsten Speed Cartridge.
Meanwhile, the Callaway Golf Rogue Irons are the longest irons and feature the industry-first high-strength 450 steel with an A.I. designed Flash face Cup that is said to offer more ball speed and better ball speed consistency. The irons further tout patented Urethane Microspheres.
There are three models of Hybrids and four models of Irons in the Rogue family.
The Callaway Golf Rogue Family Of Golf Clubs will hit the stores on February 18. Callaway will start accepting pre-orders on January 21.
The Rogue Driver has a starting price of US$549.99 while the Rogue Fairway Wood and the Rogue Hybrid start at US$349.99 and US$279.99, respectively. The Rogue Irons will have a starting price of US$999.99 for a set, or US$142.86 and up for individual irons.
