Consider it as a mobile Hot Wheels track because that’s what the Fisher-Price Power Wheels Hot Wheels Racer is. But this is not just a Hot Wheels cobranded kiddie ride.
In addition to the obvious Hot Wheels styling and graphics, Fisher-Price Power Wheels Hot Wheels Racer also has a Hot Wheels track with launchers integrated into the kiddie ride.
With the Fisher-Price Power Wheels Hot Wheels Racer, kids ages 3-7 years can put pedals to the metal as well as launch and race their die-cast cars on the vehicle’s mounted track.
Wait. Is the track a simulation for a real race for the kids? I hope not because it has a loop. Just kidding. Of course not. But for kids, it is the ultimate coming together of two fun toys.
Each Fisher-Price Power Wheels Hot Wheels Racer comes with 5 Hot Wheels die-cast cars to get your young ones started. The journey of these die-cast cars starts at the launchers and ends up in the storage compartment.
As for the kids’ vehicle, it drives on hard surfaces and grass with a max speed of 5 mph (8 km/h) forward and 2.5 mph (4 km/h) reverse. This being a Power Wheels, it also features Power-Lock brakes and parent-controlled, high-speed lockout for beginner drivers.
Unfortunately, it will not fit a grown person, but it will accommodate up to 2 kids between the age of 3 and 7, with a combined weight of no more than 130 lbs (58 kilograms).
If anyone’s interested, the Fisher-Price Power Wheels Hot Wheels Racer can be had for US$298 from Walmart.
