Celebrating a year of breaking performance records where it has broken over 20 so far in 2023, Rimac has revealed a celebratory model, dubbed Rimac Nevera Time Attack: One-Of-12 Limited Edition. Interestingly, the car was revealed on the same day (August 18) when the Nevera broke yet another record; it set a new record for EV production lap record at Nürburgring with a time of 7:00:928.
Croatian racing driver Martin Kodrić made the record-breaking lap on a Nevera running on Michelin Cup2R tires and the timing was verified by independent timing data, TÜV SÜD, and on-board telemetry.
Just last month, the Nevera set a 49.32 second time during the timed Supercar Shootout at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, making it not just the fastest electric production car to have ever taken on the famous Hillclimb but also the fastest production car to run the hill in 2023.
The Rimac Nevera Time Attack: One-Of-12 Limited Edition is so named because there were just 12 units to go around – all of which are spoken for. But are you even surprised?
The celebratory supercar wears a bespoke livery inspired by the car that set each the records on a bespoke paintwork that was designed in-house by the Rimac Automobili Color and Trim team and hand-applied to create the perfect finish.
The color or colors, or lack thereof in the case of bare carbon fiber, was the choice of the respective owners. The car further features Vertex alloy wheels and a message that says “Dedicated to those coming after us” on the underside of the rear wing which is more visible when Nevera is setup in its most extreme mode.
The bespoke touches continue into the interior with a base of black Alcantara, highlighted with accents and contrast stitching in the chosen exterior shade. Each example features bespoke ‘Time Attack’ stitching on the seat backs and an engraved ‘Time Attack: 1 of 12’ plaque.
We have no idea how much the Rimac Nevera Time Attack was sold for. The first customer, Jeff Miller, received his Nevera Time Attack on the day of the reveal at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering.
The Lightning Green on Squadron Black paint job you see here is found on Jeff’s Nevera Time Attack as well as the example that has toured the world breaking records.
