Ever wish you could tell time from your fingers? If you do, then your dream has come true. Well, almost because the miniature Casio wristwatches in the Casio Watch Ring Collection are non-functional. They are toy rings that are faithful recreations of Casio’s iconic timepieces in miniature proportion created by Japanese toy maker Stasto Stand Stones Co., Ltd. supervised by Casio.
Five iconic Casio timepieces are represented here, namely, F-91W-1, DBC-611-1, AE-1200WH-1A, MQ-24-7B2, and AQ-230GA-9. Each ring has a ring diameter of around 18.7 mm (0.736″). The miniature Casio wristwatches each boast a digital display, dial, and a three-layer glass structure (or two in the case of the analog model).
I don’t believe the Casio Watch Ring Collection is available online though. They are capsule toys that were released sequentially since July 19, 2023, and available through, you guessed it, capsule toy vending machines found at mass retailers, toy stores, as well as major home retailers across Japan.
The price for each capsule toy is 400 yen which works out to be around US$3. For those who don’t already know, Capsule Toys are essentially blind boxes which means you never know what you are going to get. I am half expecting the entire set to appear on Yahoo! Japan Classified and eBay soon.
