Copycats Famous Paint Cat Scratchers: Fine Feline Art

Created by luxury pet goods designer Lord Lou of Amsterdam, Copycat Art Scratchers are cat scratching boards that look like famous paintings. Specifically, Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring. Come on, no Dogs Playing Poker? A cat would love scratching that!

The feline art is made from 100% sisal and costs $174 for a small scratcher or $199 for a medium size. Expensive, sure, but infinitely cheaper than the actual paintings, which aren’t for sale. Although if you and your cat are down for a heist, I know people. Of course your cat will probably spend just as much time sitting in the box the scratcher comes in as actually scratching it, so that’s certainly something to consider before buying one.

I bought a cat scratcher for my cats but they prefer shredding the side of the couch instead. I wish I could say I was surprised, but I’ve known they were little destroyers since I first met them. “Just like their father,” my wife half-jokes while I try to find a stud in the wall without a stud finder.
