I believe, it was iPhone 12 when Apple started to introduce a new color or colors months after the phone is on the market. With the iPhone 12, Apple introduced Purple to the range, and then for the iPhone 13, it had Alpine Green and Green. Today, it did the same for the 14 and the color of choice. Yellow.
Why yellow? I don’t know. Because it looks cool? And also you can say “yellow” instead of “hello”? OK. Pardon my nonsense. Anyhoo, so yeah, the new yellow has just joined the already colorful lineup of the iPhone 14 and iPhone Plus. I can’t help but notice that the yellow variant’s frame has a gold hue to it which is pretty cool, IMHO.
Beyond the color, everything is the same, including the durable Ceramic Shield front cover, a dual-camera system, the A15 Bionic chip, improved battery life, and innovative safety features like Emergency SOS via satellite (which Android has caught up thanks to Huawei and Bullitt and Motorola collaboration) and Crash Detection.
The new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be available in 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB storage capacities, starting at US$799 and US$899, respectively. It will be available to pre-order this Friday, March 10, with availability starting Tuesday, March 14.
