Transformers fans who are old enough may know that the original G1 Jetfire toy was actually a redeco of the Macross VF-1S Super Valkyrie toy made by Takatoku Toys. If that era brings back fond memories, then you will be glad that Kitz Concept, is releasing a limited edition 1/72 VF-1S God Of Flame in a deco inspired by the G1 Jetfire toy.
This VF-1S Valkyrie is, of course, transformable between the three iconic modes: Fighter (a variable-sweep wing aircraft), Guardian (Gerwalk mode), and Battloid (robot). It stands 19 cm (7.5 inches) tall in robot mode and it features LED light-up effects, interchangeable hands, and contains die-cast parts.
The figure promised “full articulated for maximum poseability” and will come with a gunpod, missile attachments, a display stand, and a Fast Pack Armor that has 2 jet propulsion units with a light-up effect. The transformation between the different modes is possible with the Fast Pack equipped.
The 1/72 VF-1S God Of Flame With Fast Pack Armor has a limited run of just 2,688 pieces worldwide (edition number will be printed on the packaging). It has a list price of US$229.90 with a special pre-order price of US$209.90. It is expected to be released in November 2022.
