Shin Ultraman will be hitting the theaters in Japan very soon and Tsuburaya Productions is drumming it up with an event over at Mitsubishi Estate Property Management-operated Yokohama Landmark Tower, aptly called Shin Ultraman Yokohama Landmark Tower.
The Shin Ultraman Yokohama Landmark Tower, which will happen between April 29 to June 30, will be on the 69th-floor observation floor aka Sky Garden. During the event, fans will be able to see a 4.5 meter (14.8 feet) tall statue of the first Ultraman, plus there will be photo opportunities and sales of limited collaboration merchandise, as well as collab food and drink menus.
Prior to entering the building, fans will be awed by a 10-meter (about 33 feet) tall inflatable of the brand new Ultraman which will make itself at home at the Sakata Seed Garden Square on the 1st floor of the Landmark Plaza.
In addition, there will be a Shin Ultraman stamp rally in which you can collect the stamps and exchange them for Shin Ultraman collaboration merchandise. A limited original sticker will also be presented as a participation prize for those who have collected 3 stamps.
If you managed to collect all the stamps, you will have a shot at winning more Shin Ultraman merchandise in a lottery.
The stamp rally will happen from April 29 to May 8, across four facilities, namely, Landmark Plaza, MARK IS Minatomirai, Sky Building, and Yokohama Royal Park Hotel, and 6 places.
Shin Ultraman is the first live-action Ultraman movie. It is written by the creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion Hideaki Anno and the second Shin movie was written by Anno and directed by Shinji Higuchi after Shin Godzilla in 2016. Shin Ultraman will hit the theaters in Japan on May 13, 2022.
