Harman Kardon and Bang & Olufsen are common names in laptops. Now, another high-end audio equipment maker is joining in the laptop speaker system game: Bowers & Wilkins.
Bowers & Wilkins is set to bless the new Lenovo Yoga 9i Gen 7 2-in-1 laptop with ‘True Sound’. It will be the first laptop to feature a bespoke B&W sound system, specially designed to deliver a more authentic premium sound for a mobile computing device.
The new Lenovo Yoga 9i, which will be powered by up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P processor with Intel Iris X graphics, will feature a four-speaker system comprising of two tweeters and two mid/bass woofers.
Two drivers are seamlessly integrated into the laptop’s 360-degree rotating soundbar hinge directed at the user while the remaining two drivers are designated sideways-firing speakers, located along the edges of the laptop.
The Lenovo Yoga 9i Gen 7 is co-engineered with Intel and meets the requirements of an Intel Evo laptop. This means it is responsive, features instant wake, has good battery life with fast charging, and super-fast bootup.
The Lenovo Yoga 9i further boasts a 14-inch screen with up to 4K OLED VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black, slim bezel touchscreen with 100 percent DCI-P3 color, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
The Lenovo Yoga 9i Gen 7 2-in-1 Laptop with 12th Gen Intel Core processors will be available in Q2 2022 with a starting price of US$1,399.
