I am sure you have seen enough of weird gadgets. If you haven’t, here’s another. What you see here is a power bank/eye massager hybrid called Bigboy. You probably will not find anything odd with this combo without seeing the device. But now that you do, tell me you did not think it is absolutely weird.
I mean, it is rod-shaped, just about the size of a man’s sexual organ, rounded on both ends, and it vibrates. Seriously, that is a dildo, isn’t it? Never mind whoever made it is marketing it as an eye massager because we know what we saw. Or the creative us, think it may have an alternate use.
The device, which measures 125 mm (4.92 inches) long and 28 mm (1.1 inches) diameter, packs a 5,000 mAh battery inside the polished stainless body. One of the rounded ends is a removable cap that, when removed, reveals an on/off switch and a USB-C charging port.
Meanwhile, the other rounded end is for massaging around the eye. A high-frequency motor provides up to 18,000 times per minute vibration. In addition to massaging the eyes, neck, cheeks, this device can provide some emergency juice for your gadgets like your smartphones. That is if haven’t already expended the juice for massaging or cough you know what.
Bigboy Eye Massager 5000 mAh Power Bank is not the first massager/power bank combo but it is, IMHO, the most stylish. A couple of years ago, there was one crowdfunded on Indiegogo and previously, there was one being sold on Amazon. The latter looks even more like a sex toy, IMHO.
Anywho, if anyone’s interested in this power bank that you rather not let anyone see that you own it, you can pick it up from Taobao.com for about 178-189 yuan (or about US$28-30). Most merchants on Taobao support shipping to stateside, btw.
Some words of warning though. One user said that it became super hot after using it to charge a smartphone. Perhaps, stainless steel as the material of choice for a power bank isn’t a good idea?
