If you haven’t already heard, Prime Video is turning the popular post-apocalypse video game Fallout into a TV series. For the uninitiated, Fallout follows the story of a community of people living in luxury fallout shelters who are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind. When this band of people emerged from the sheltered world below ground, they were greeted by an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and hostile world on the surface.
Aptly entitled, well, Fallout, the TV series is set to hit Amazon’s streaming platform on April 12, 24, in more than 240 countries and territories around the world. Before that happened, Prime Video offered the first look at the series, as well as revealed the cast and characters of the series.
The series stars Ella Purnell as Lucy, an optimistic Vault Dweller, Aaron Moten as Maximus, a soldier of the militaristic faction called Brotherhood of Steel, Walton Goggin as The Ghoul, the wasteland notorious bounty hunter, and Overseer Hank and Lucy’s father is played by Kyle MacLachlan.
The series also stars Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones. The series will be available to watch on Prime Video which is included with Prime membership
