Solving a problem I never knew I had, the Ringo is a water bottle with an integrated magnetic mount so you can attach your phone. It works natively with MagSafe iPhones but can work with any phone with the attachment of a magnetic ring to the back of your device. Obviously, this is the perfect solution for making a video version of your last will and testament after getting lost in the woods.
The Ringo bottle costs $65 for a 24 oz model and $70 for a 30 oz. It’s available in four colors (black, steel, ivory, and orange). The bottle’s lid has a 90-degree hinge with “the perfect resistance and strength,” so you can set up the camera at just the right angle. Just your water bottle and your phone, and you’re ready for a work team meeting!
Are people going to buy these? I have no idea. What I do know is if you always pack some strong double-sided tape, you can turn anything into a phone holder. Well, anything double-sided tape will stick to, anyway. Consider that a little life hack from me to you. Granted, it’s not a very good one, but my life is a wreck.
