For the 12 years this blog in existence, we have featured Crocs only once and that was in 2017 which, I believe was the year when it regained its popularity. Not going to lie, I am not a fan of Crocs but I am intrigued by the accessories for Crocs which can sometimes get rather, you know, interesting.
Anyhoo, aside from the room to customize the open kick, Crocs seems to have found the secret formula to being trendy, and that’s collaborations. One of the latest collaborative footwear is paired with DreamWorks, the Crocs Classic DreamWorks Shrek Clog.
If you think about it, it is a rather fitting collaboration because, well, both are pretty hideous, TBH. I guess Crocs Clog is like Shrek, ugly on the outside but kind on the inside. “Kind” in Crocs’ context would be it is functional and comfy to wear.
Presented in lime punch colorway to better represent the gentle ogre, the Crocs Classic DreamWorks Shrek Clog completes its ode to the beloved ogre with Shrek’s iconic nose, ears, and green speckled skin. In addition, it gets a fluffy treatment on the pivoting heel straps.
Other features include a water-friendly and buoyant construction, ventilation ports for breathability and help shed water and debris, easy to clean and dry, and iconic Crocs Comfort that is lightweight, and flexible, providing 360-degree comfort. Also, it is totally customizable with Jibbitz charms – if the Shrek’s nose and ears aren’t already enough.
The Crocs Classic DreamWorks Shrek Clog is available for both men and women for US$59.99. But be warned that it is selling fast. It is also available for kids and toddlers.
