Porsche has a new eBike to satisfy its customers who love to hit up the trails on a two-wheeler. Back in May, the German sports car maker revealed that it is expanding its eBike range with a new model, developed in collaboration with e-bike specialist Rotwild. Porsche owners will be glad to know that the new eBike is being offered in original Porsche colors, which will allow them to acquire a high-performance pedal-assisted bicycle in colors that match their Porsche rides.
The new eBike is offered in two new derivatives: Porsche eBike Cross Performance and Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC. The new eBikes offer the “highest demands on chassis performance and braking performance.” The EXC is the model that can be ordered in six original Porsche vehicle colors.
Building on the sportiness and maximum off-road comfort of the Porsche eBike Cross, the Porsche eBike Cross Performance promise to offer even more adrenalin rushes and thrills.
It boasts a Fox Factory chassis, a powerful Shimano EP-801 motor paired with a 630 Wh battery, a Shimano electric 12-speed rear derailleur, an MT7 brake system from Magura with four-piston forged aluminum brake calipers, Fox 34 FLOAT Factory suspension fork with 120 mm of travel, Fox FLOAT DPS Factory air shock absorber (rear) with 100 mm travel, Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro Carbon wheelset, 780 mm wide Rotwild B220 Flatriser 35 carbon handlebars, and two riding profiles, namely Profile 1 and Profile 2.
Profile 1 offers three support modes: Eco, Trail, and Boost, while Profile 2 is a Fine Tune Mode in which users can fine-tune up to 15 parameters.
The new Porsche eBike Cross Performance and the Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC are available now in three frame sizes (S, M, and L) from shop.porsche.com and Porsche-design.com, as well as at select Porsche Centers and Porsche Design stores, with an RRP of $14,250 and $15,350, respectively.
