Because who hasn’t dreamed of putting condiments on their hot dog in Skittles form, French’s Mustard has teamed up with Skittles to produce a limited edition of French’s Mustard flavored chewy candies. Is anybody else’s mouth watering? I will need Heinz ketchup and relish versions too. Shoot, add hotdog- and bun-flavored Skittles to the lineup, and I can eat a whole meal in candy form.
The limited-edition candy was created to celebrate National Mustard Day (the first Saturday in August, the 5th this year) and will be given away at pop-up events in Atlanta, Washington D.C., and New York City. Or you can enter to win a bag at the McCormick website HERE, with 700 lucky winners. Forget winning Powerball; I just want mustard Skittles.
According to people who have tried them, they really captured the flavor of French’s Mustard perfectly, which is just what I wanted to hear. Of course, if you are lucky enough to score a bag of these and don’t replace all the lemon Skittles in a candy bowl with them, clearly, you misunderstood the assignment.
