While Lepin got shut down for knocking off LEGO products, other Chinese companies are busily churning out their own IP products. One of them is CaDA which recently caught our attention with the officially licensed Mercedes-AMG One building set.
While patiently awaiting for the Technic-style Mercedes-AMG One to be available, CaDA is busy turning out a bunch of products, among them is this officially licensed by Arctic Cat sports vehicle, Wildcat XX. The CaDA Arctic Cat Wildcat XX (C62006) [CH] may not look like a Technic-style building set but it really is. I know, it is pretty mind-blowing.
When completed, the CaDA Arctic Cat Wildcat XX (C62006) is remote control toy powered by a newly developed, “super speed” motor, outfitted with a servo motor pro, a 2.4G lithium battery case, and controlled by the included 2.4 GHz remote controller that has a miniature steering wheel for better driving immersion.
The brick-built Wildcat XX is 1:12 scale, measuring 31 cm long, 17 cm wide, and 17 cm tall (12.2 x 6.7 x 6.7 inches).
Other highlights included a replica interior, anti-roll design, mudguards, real working coilover suspension all around, off-road tires, and functional LED headlights.
The CaDA Arctic Cat Wildcat XX Building Set can be had for 499 yuan (around US$69) when it becomes available in China through the Chinese ecommerce website JD. However, it is not clear when exactly it will be available. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
