If you ask me, Dobby the House-Elf’s death in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part One was unjust but sadly, necessary for the entire plot. But unlike Harry who has nothing to remember Dobby by, we Muggles have this: LEGO Harry Potter Dobby the House-Elf (76421) Set.
This 403-piece set lets kids age 8 and up build and display a LEGO brick-built figure of one of the most beloved characters in the Wizarding World. When completed, LEGO Harry Potter Dobby the House-Elf (76421) offers some poseability, including a rotating and tilting head, posable ears, and movable arms and fingers.
The latter allows you to recreate Dobby holding Tom Marvolo’s diary with the sock in it that eventually had him freed from Malfoy. Also included in the set is a buildable gift sock that gave Dobby his freedom, as well as a buildable Aunt Petunia’s ‘floating’ pudding cake.
Dobby figure comes with a buildable stand with a nameplate with his name. All told, the completed figure measures over 7.5 in. (19 cm) high, 5 in. (12 cm) wide, and 4 in. (10 cm) deep.
The LEGO Harry Potter Dobby the House-Elf (76421) Set will sell for US$34.99 when it becomes available. However, the exact availability has not been announced yet.
