Summer nears, and what better way to celebrate than with a pair of banana flip-flops? That was meant to be rhetorical. Made by the ever-popular brand MAIITRIP and available on Amazon (affiliate link), these banana sandals (not to be confused with a banana hammock) are the perfect summer footwear. Just don’t venture too close to any monkeys.
Available in green (unripe), light green (ripening), yellow (ripe), and red (???), the sandals feature EVA construction with a non-slip outsole so you aren’t constantly slipping on your peels. That would make for one terrible pair of flip-flops if you were. Right up there with flip-flops made from LEGO bricks.
These look perfect for wearing around the pool. Or working a frozen banana stand at the beach. They probably aren’t the right choice of footwear for a wedding, though, but I’ll still take my chances. Hey, you invited me; you should have known what you were getting yourself into, sis.
