Because some people firmly believe that bigger is better, self-proclaimed “not experts,” Evan and Katelyn set out to build the world’s largest laptop, a 100-pound behemoth with a 43″ screen. The unit features an oversized keyboard and, just like an actual laptop, can run on batteries. Batteries, I’m sure that monitor eats up like Pac-Man gobbles pellets.
The duo runs into numerous obstacles along the way but, despite not being experts, they ended up with a very impressive giant laptop to show for their efforts. Me? I’m not an expert either, but every project of mine typically ends up beside the trash bin on garbage day. What do they have that I don’t have? I mean, besides the patience and know-how.
Now they just need to make a video of one of them heading into a Starbucks and casually setting the laptop up at a table to work for the day. The reactions of the other customers and baristas would be priceless! Okay, maybe not priceless, but at least worth a $6 latte.
