It has been a while since we last heard about BLU Products, the go-to brand for affordable, unlocked devices in the U.S. I thought we missed a lot. It turns out, we did not. It hasn’t had a new device since the MediaTek-powered gaming smartphone from 2021.
BLU Products only started to update its portfolio in February and more recently in April. So, basically, there are just two new devices from the handset maker. The first is the brand’s “first flagship for 2022”, G91 Max, and the second model is the BLU’s first 5G smartphone, the F91 5G.
As you may have already noted, the so-called first flagship for 2022, the G91 Max, is actually an enhanced version of the gaming device, G91. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 gaming chipset, featuring a powerful GPU (ARM Mali-G76) to ensure high FPS gaming action. Wait. So, is it a gaming phone?
