US$2 Million Production-ready Rimac Nevera Rolled Off The Production Line

5 years in development and testing, and after going through three generations of powertrain technology, 18 prototypes, 45 physical crash tests, and over 1.6 million collective hours of R&D, the first production-ready Rimac Nevera has rolled off the production line.

The production version of the hand-built electric hypercar launched last year is finished in a striking pearlescent shade of Callisto Green with Painted Graphite Vertex wheels and Sand Alcantara interior.

For those who missed it, the much-anticipated hypercar actually made an appearance at last month’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in a series of full-throttle sideways runs up the famous Hillclimb.

For folks who have put their money on one, there is more good news. The first cars destined to be delivered to customers are already being assembled. Rimac expects each Nevera to take 5 weeks to complete. In other words, deliveries are imminent. Though it is not clear exactly when.

Just to recap, Rimac Nevera is the next-generation electric hypercar that is powered by four electric motors, yielding a total of 1,914 horsepower, which enables it to make 0-60 (about 97 km/h) in a blink of an eye, in just 1.85 seconds (!) and it will take just 4.3 seconds for it to reach 100 mph (161 km/h). Absolutely bonkers. Electric is, without any doubt, the way to go if you are a speed demon. Meanwhile, you may learn more HERE.
