Indonesian artist NDIKOL aka Adhika Rahmani is no stranger to taking a play at Banksy’s Flower Bomber sculpture. Previously, he has done it with Homer, Mario, Garfield, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Speaking TMNT “Pizza Bomber”, the black and white stencil-style Raphael is now joined by Michelangelo.
Where Raphael had a monochrome body and a colored pizza box and pizza, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Food Fight by NDIKOL is the opposite. Michelangelo is treated to his classic turtle colors while his pizza box gets a black-and-white stencil-like treatment.
The single slice of pepperoni pizza remains colored as it should. As before, the figure is also treated to the stencil-style, cartoon shades that have been a hallmark of NDIKOL’s works.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Food Fight by NDIKOL is an 8.3-inch limited edition vinyl figure. It is available now for pre-order from Mighty Jaxx for US$199 with shipping starting in January 2023.
