Just two days after it went online, the Bamford x G-Shock DW-6900BWD Wristwatch was sold out. Sorry for not getting the news out to you sooner. I should have seen it coming but I just thought it would take more than a day or two for it to be gone. Ugh.
The Bamford x G-Shock DW-6900BWD Wristwatch is the second Bamford and G-Shock collaboration, following the first square G-Shock in 2020 which was sold just as quickly.
The DW-6900 has been given Bamford’s hallmark makeover, which includes the new triple blue concept utilizing three different shades of Bamford’s signature aqua blue.
The signature blue has taken all over the usual white debossed letters, including the iconic ‘G’ symbol backlight button. They are touches of blue on the jet black dial too. The dial is also where you find one of the three Bamford brandings, in aqua blue, of course.
And it (the blue treatment) did not stop there; it continues to the underside of the strap, engulfing the entire underside in this striking yet so soothing color. The strap is where you can find the other two aqua blue Bamford branding.
Beyond that, the Bamford x G-Shock DW-6900BWD Wristwatch is pretty much the DW-6900 you’d expect. It means features like 18-24 battery life, alarm function, auto calendar, stopwatch function, EL backlight, black IP treatment, water resistance to 200 meters, shock resistance, and resin case.
We shouldn’t be surprised that it was sold out this quickly because the watch was sold at just £124.17 a pop (around US$148.43).
