Doctor Strange did not mess with time. You most certainly did not get caught up in a time warp. The video game, the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, that we excitedly told you about nearly 3 years ago is finally available. 3 years! That’s was quite a wait, wasn’t it?
Presented by the LEGO Group, Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, and Lucasfilm Games, the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the latest LEGO Star Wars title that covers all nine Skywalker saga movies in one game.
Here’s the official description:
“LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga delivers an unforgettable experience through the Star Wars galaxy with the biggest roster of LEGO Star Wars characters and vehicles to date, new immersive combat mechanics, a vast array of planets to explore, and much more! Players will relive the epic narrative of the Skywalker Saga told through the lens of hilarious LEGO humor, and they can choose to start at the beginning of any trilogy, including Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: A New Hope, or Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
Folks who have played TT Games’ LEGO video games will be familiar with the gameplay mechanics. If you haven’t, allow me to summarize it for you: fun and funny. That’s it (and good enough reason to play it, if not for the Star Wars franchise).
I have played the LEGO Star Wars series, the LEGO Harry Potter series, and The LEGO Movie video games, and so far, not a single one of them has let me down. I hope this one won’t either.
I have high hopes even though I find subsequent so-called Skywalker saga movies suck. Oops. There I said it.
Anyhoo, the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Video Game is available now for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
