This Conversion Kit Lets You Use The Sublue WhiteShark Tini To Power A Paddleboard

Powered standup paddleboard (SUP) is not new. Anyone can buy one if he or she wants one. But what if you already have a paddleboard that you have grown attached to? Well, fortunately, underwater scooter maker Sublue has just the solution.

Sublue WhiteShark Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit

Sublue has designed a Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit that turns the brand’s WhiteShark Tini underwater scooter into an outboard motor of sort for your paddleboard.

The obvious boon here, IMHO, is that the kit can go with you when you decided to change board because the kit is designed to fit most of today’s paddleboards. Also, it is actually more affordable than buying a purpose-designed electric SUP.

Sublue WhiteShark Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit

Sublue WhiteShark Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit is offered in three flavors: Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit for those who already have a WhiteShark Tini underwater scooter, Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit with a WhiteShark Tini underwater scooter, and Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit with two WhiteShark Tini underwater scooters.

Some of the features include fast, tool-free installation, wireless control, one-button start/stop, up to 45-minute battery life on a single charge, and a top speed of 4.5 km/h (2.8 mph) with the single motor version and up to 7 km/h (4 mph) with the dual-motor variety.

Sublue Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit is available to order now with shipping in December 2021.

The conversion kit itself without WhiteShark Tini goes for just US$229. Meanwhile, the single-motor version and the dual-motor conversion kits sell for US$649 and US$1,049, respectively. However, those prices are only applicable if you pre-order the product.
