If you heard the audio reproduction of a Devialet, then you probably will have no doubt about the audio prowess of its TWS earbuds. And even more so now that it is in its second generation. Folks, this is the second-generation Devialet Gemini II True Wireless earbuds.
With the Devialet Gemini, the French audio tech company basically takes 15 years of acoustics R&D and engineering and packs it into a tiny package that you shove into your ears. The second generation continues what the first have achieved and throws in adaptive noise cancellation, improved ergonomy, enhanced connectivity, and new Active Wind Reduction (AWR) technology into the mix.
We are talking about a brand new custom 10 mm Devialet titanium-coated driver, Qualcomm AptX codec, Bluetooth 5.2 Multipoint with auto switch between up to 2 devices, along with features like Google Fast Pair, up to 22 hours of autonomy, IPX4 water and sweat resistant, plus support for voice-assistant and Qi wireless charging. Oh, there are also new touch control customizations available in-app.
Each pair of Devialet Gemini II aims to fit all ears and as such, it is supplied with four eartips sizes – XS, S, M, and L. Plus, the second generation has a design that is not sleeker but also 40% smaller than its predecessor.
But such audio awesomeness does not come cheap; if you want a pair then be prepared to drop at least US$449 of your hard-earned dough in exchange. We said “at least” because US$449 is for the iconic white and matte black finish; the Devialet Gemini Opéra de Paris which is gilded commands a hefty US$649.
