It has been four years since Avengers: Endgame hit the theaters and we just getting a brick-built model of the final battle scene. I guess it is better late than never. Though I have to say that there is not much brick built about the LEGO Marvel Endgame Final Battle (76266) Set.
It is really more like a diorama that is also a minifigure and LEGO figure collector wet dream. After all, in this scene, the Avengers HQ had pretty much crumpled to the ground and all that remains were debris. The LEGO Marvel Endgame Final Battle (76266) Set is nevertheless a must-have for fans of the franchise. I think it will make for a perfect display beside the LEGO Marvel Nano Gauntlet (76223) set.
Anyhoo, the set lets you build the ruins of the Avengers’ compound with some hidden details like Captain America’s shield, Thor’s hammer, the time stone, and the portal-opening rat. The set can be reconfigured to a shelf-friendly, linear design if so desire.
It includes 5 minifigures, including Captain Marvel, Okoye, Wanda Maximoff, Shuri, and Valkyrie, along with a Thanos big figure and The Wasp microfigure. The set contains 764 pieces and when completed, the closed-up version of the model measures over 11.5 in. (30 cm) high, 8.5 in. (21 cm) wide, and 8 in. (21 cm) deep.
The LEGO Marvel Endgame Final Battle (76266) Set is available now for US$99.99. Recommended for ages 10 and up (but we all know we want one, don’t we all?).
