Here’s another piece of news coming from Yolopark for fans of live-action Transformers. The toy maker has revealed new three model kits inspired by the upcoming seventh Transformers movie, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Like the PLAMO kits, these kits are presented in their bot mode and obviously, non-transforming. All told, there are three models, namely, Optimus Prime, Optimus Primal, and Bumblebee.
Not going to lie. I was disappointed Mirage isn’t in this first wave of the Yolopark Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Model Kits. I guess Bumblebee sells. Perhaps we will see Mirage in the future. Anyhoo, the strength of Yolopark’s kits is the attention to the mechanical details on each bot. Though the details will not be as they were on the Yolopark x Sokills Optimus Prime, it will definitely impress.
Each model is crafted based on its appearance in the film and the material is PVC. Expect a certain level of posability. Speaking of which, if the product images were to believe, it looks like dear old Prime has excellent articulations. Both Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal stand around 20 cm (7.9 inches) tall while Bumblebee is approximately 16 cm (6.3 inches).
The Yolopark Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Model Kits will hit the shelves this month (May) for 239 Hong Kong dollars (around US$31). At this point, major toy retailers should have already been taking pre-orders.
