Electric conversion of classic cars is a common thing. You can pretty much get the car you want with an electric drivetrain if you have the money to drop. However, if you want a car that is revered and a rare example, such as the Porsche 911 ST, then Everrati is possibly your only option.
The UK-based electric conversion specialist has recently revealed the electrified sports car inspired by the legendary 911 ST. Sporting the classic Porsche motorsport-style looks, this all-electric new old classic pays homage to one of the most revered and rarest 911s of all time.
The Porsche 911 G-Series (1973-1989) based model features a Porsche motorsport-inspired handbuilt body with a host of weight-saving measures.
It is outfitted with an OEM-grade 62 kWh battery and battery management system, with electric motors producing 440 bhp which is put to good use at the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential, affording over 200 miles of emission-free range and a sub-4-second 0-60 mph acceleration.
The new Porsche 911 ST electric sports car is built in partnership with Pennsylvania-based Porsche customization specialist RS Werks. Everrati and RS Werks worked to ensure that this electrified 911 ST weighs and has a weight distribution that is as close to that of the original 911 ST.
The Everrati electric 911 ST will support both AC and DC Fast charging and is offered with optional features like air conditioning, power steering, Apple CarPlay, and TracTrive suspension. The latter is a premium, electronically controlled active and adaptive suspension system with multiple settings designed to optimize and enhance driving dynamics, comfort, and performance for both road and track.
Though not affiliated, the announcement of the Everrati x RS Werks Electric 911 ST coincides with Porsche 911’s 60th anniversary this year (2023). The Porsche 911 (901) made its public debut in 1963 at the Frankfurt IAA Motor Show.
