Because cats make everything better, the devoted modding community of racing simulator Assetto Corsa has added felines to the game, allowing players to drive speedy little kitties around the track at high speeds. Awesome, now do it for Mario Kart next.
The modded cat cars, which are only available on PC versions of the game and not consoles, are basically just body mods, replacing the existing body of a car with a cat while maintaining all the car’s other specs. Cool, but instead of leaving burnt rubber behind in those turns, they should leave a trail of litter box litter.
Cat racing is official available for Assetto Corsa.

Put a can of Fancy Feast at the finish line, and my cat will win every race he’s entered in. Sure, he doesn’t come when I call him, and misses the litter box a quarter of the time, but he never fails to appear like a cat out of hell when he hears that can being opened. He’d be perfect for a commercial, too, if the fur around his face didn’t always look like he just smoked an exploding cigar. You can find the kitty cat mod files for Assetto Corsa here.
