LEGO has quietly launched a new LEGO Star Wars set that should get fans of the original trilogy pretty pumped. The set is LEGO Star Wars TIE Bomber (75347). It has been a while since we have had a TIE vehicle. I believe the last one was the LEGO Star Wars Imperial TIE Fighter (75300) released way back in 2021.
The LEGO Star Wars TIE Bomber (75347) is obviously not the first LEGO TIE Fighter. There have been at least two sets, excluding polybags. However, this one definitely looks more polished for a made-for-kids toy and has an aesthetic that pairs up nicely with the 75300.
The set contains a modest 626 pieces and measures over 4 inches (10 cm) tall, 6 inches (16 cm) long, and 7.5 inches (20 cm) wide when completed. The model features an opening Minifigure cockpit, a warhead bay with a torpedo-dropping function, and 2 stud shooters.
Minifigure collectors will be pleased that this set also comes with a Darth Vader Minifigure, along with Vice Admiral Sloane, and a TIE Bomber Pilot, with weapons. Also included is a Gonk Droid LEGO figure as well as a cart to transport torpedoes to the TIE Bomber.
The LEGO Star Wars TIE Bomber (75347) Set is expected to drop on January 01, 2023, for US$64.99.
