Corsair, the name best known for high-performance memories, has recently unveiled its very first gaming laptop. You heard that right. Corsair is in the gaming laptop game too, starting with this rig: Corsair Voyager a1600 Gaming Laptop: AMD Advantage Edition.
As the product name suggests, it benefits from AMD Advantage technologies, which means it features AMD Ryzen processors, AMD Radeon graphics, and exclusive AMD Smart Technologies.
The processor is the latest 8-core/16-thread AMD Ryzen 6000-Series processor and AMD Radeon RX 6000-Series graphics.
Other highlights include DDR5 memory, a high-speed M.2 NVMe SSD, a 1080p webcam powered by Elgato Camera Hub software, ambient noise-canceling microphone array, a 240 Hz refresh rate 16” QHD+ (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) IPS display, AMD FreeSync compatibility, connect up to three SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS devices with the built-in receiver, and a keyboard featuring Cherry MX Ultra-Low Profile mechanical key switches and energy-efficient CAPELLIX LEDs with fully customizable per-key RGB backlighting.
The Corsair Voyager a1600 Gaming Laptop AMD Advantage Edition reportedly will have a starting price of US$2,700 when it becomes available. The availability, though, is yet to be confirmed.
